The LLM programme at Aligarh Muslim University is offered broadly in five different specializations.
The course is offered in full-time regular mode as well as part time mode.
The intake capacity for the course is 35.

AMU LLM Admission Process

The admissions to LLM course at Aligarh Muslim University are based on candidate’s performance in Admission Test conducted by the Department of Law, Aligarh Muslim University.

AMU LLM Course Structure

Course Structure: The course work for the LLM course is basically divided into two parameters, theoretical papers and practical exposure. There are theoretical papers that a student needs to clear during the course work and semester-end examinations along with continuous assessments. Such courses involve daily lectures, assignments, presentations, etc. For practical exposure, the students need to undergo Practical Training Programme (Legal Internship), and Legal Literacy and Mass Awareness Programme in the remote areas of Aligarh District.
Assessment and Evaluation: The evaluation for the LLM course t is basically done on two parameters, i.e,
