Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies, Chennai - Scholarship Details

Vels Institute of Science Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Pallavaram Chennai conducts V-SAT 2024, a scholarship admission test to offer 100% scholarships to more than 1000 students to pursue their undergraduate program at their campus.

V-SAT 2024 will be conducted in an online mode from April 15, 2024 to April 22, 2024.

The results of VSAT 20204 will be published on their website and can be accessed through the link http://www.velsuniv.ac.in/VSAT.asp.

Other than scholarships based on V-SAT 2024, Vels University also offers scholarships such as Merit Scholarships, First Graduate Scholarships, Artist Associations Scholarships, Ex-Servicemen Scholarships, Sports Scholarships & Alumni Scholarships. 

VISTAS also offers the following scholarship schemes to deserving students:

Vels University Scholarship for Engineering Programs

Scheme 1: Marks obtained in VEE 2024

Scheme 2: Marks in the qualifying exam (Any Board)

1st Graduate: Concession fee for B.E courses 10% for every year

Vels University Scholarship for MBA Programs

For a minimum aggregate score of 60% and above in the qualifying degree and a pass in VELS Entrance Examination (VEE) 10% scholarship in the Tuition fee for the 1 year only

Vels University Scholarship for Law Courses

For BA.LLB courses: Qualifying in VEE - 10% scholarship in the Tuition fee for the 1 year (2 semesters alone) only

Vels University Alumni Scholarship

10% scholarship is granted to a UG student who will be taking admission to PG course offered at the university. 

Vels University Scholarship for Sports Quota

For All Programs: 100% Tuition fee Concession and free Hostel accommodation.

Vels School Students

25% scholarship for all UG Courses for the 1 year (2 Semesters alone) only

Merit Scholarships for First Rank Holders

The first rank in each program in end-semester examinations shall be awarded merit scholarships. Final semester excluded

• 1st rank - 25% tuition fees in that semester, No cash will be paid and it will be adjusted in Tuition fees

B.E(E.E.E/E.C.E/C.S.E/AUTOMOBILE/BIOTECH/BIOMEDICAL/Mech/CIVIL/PETROLEUM/NAVAL ARCHITECTURE/MECHATRONICS/IT):

• Above 90% in (+2) - 25% scholarship for 4 years.
• Above 80% in (+2) - 25% scholarship for 1 year.

B.Tech (IT):

• Above 90% in (+2) - 10% scholarship for 4 years.
• Above 80% in (+2) - 10% scholarship for 1 year.
