Roles include hotel operations trainee and management level trainee, with the Taj Group offering a general manager package of 10 lakh per annum and an internship stipend of 18,000 INR per month. Internships are mandatory in the 2nd year, involving hands-on experience in various hotel departments like the kitchen and housekeeping to enhance practical skills. The course fee is 300,000 INR, but students can access a 75% scholarship through the Excellence of SRM exam. Education loans are also available. Practical cooking classes have significant expenses for daily provisions such as vegetables, dairy, and spices. Tuition and hostel fees are paid yearly. In the second year, students must complete a four-month industrial training at a five-star hotel, with stipends typically around 1,000 INR per month, depending on the hotel.
