Kalasalingam University offers various UG, PG and Doctoral programmes in different disciplines on and off campus.

Admissions in B Tech in the university is based on the entrance test conducted by the university is KUEE (Kalasalingam University Entrance Test) the application of which is done online on the university website. 

The program B Tech is offered in different specialisations;-

  • B Tech General
  • B Tech Lateral Entry
  • B Tech Food Technology
  • B Tech Bio-Technology

Candidates will be charged application fees of INR 600/- if paid online INR 650/- paid by DD in the name of university payable at university.

Candidate applying for the program must have pursued their schooling from science stream.

The registration window for the program will open in the month of November and December every year, which is also done online following certain steps and by submitting mentioned documents.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 10+2 from any recognised institute with minimum 50% marks having PCM/PCB with any 1 language subject.
  • MPC candidates can apply for all B Tech specialisations.
  • Open school students are also eligible.
  • KUEE scores

B.Tech Lateral Entry

  • Minimum 60% in previous qualifying exam 
  • Diploma holders or Final year students also eligible.
  • KUEE scores

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks scored in KUEE, a list will be released by the university on the website after the counselling process.

Candidate should carry photocopy and original document with him at the time of counselling.

Application Form

The registration is done in online mode only. Students are required to submit the applications on the official website of the university. Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

  • Students have to mention a valid email address or contact number on the application form. Further information regarding admission process will be sent by email.
  • All the information which is mentioned on the application form must be correct and verified with original documents.

Steps to Apply Online:

  1. Visit the official website i.e. kalasalingam.ac.in/site/.
  2. Click on the admission link
  3. Register by using your email id and password
  4. Login after the confirmation of email
  5. Fill application form with all the required information
  6. Upload the scan copy of signature and photograph
  7. Image size should not be more than 50K
  8. Verify all the information and click on submit button
  9. Pay application fee either of the available mode
  10. Take the print out of application form for future reference.

Application Fee

  • Applicants have to pay an application fee at the time of registration process.
  • The payment of application fee can be done in online through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card) or in offline mode through DD in favor of “Kalasalingam University” payable at Rajapalayam.
