VMOU Admission
VMOU admissions are conducted through both online and offline modes. Admission to all the UG and PG courses (except B.Ed, MBA, MCA) is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The university conducts VMOU MET and VMOU B.Ed entrance exams for admission to the MBA and B.Ed programs respectively. MCA admissions are done through an entrance examination conducted by the university.
VMOU Ph.D. admissions are based on the entrance test followed by a personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates having valid scores in NET/ SET/ GATE are exempted from the entrance test.

Every student has to make and submit the assignments at the regional centre on or before the last date of assignment submission. The university has also started the facility for online submission of assignments. If a student is unable to submit the assignment, then VMOU will not release the examination results for such students. VMOU Scholarships
VMOU offers scholarship aids for differently-abled students, this scholarship is provided by the NHFDC. Under this financial scheme, a total number of 2500 students will be provided financial assistance which covers course fees, maintenance allowance, books & stationery allowance, and aids & appliances for the students studying professional or technical degree or PG level curriculum. Candidates having an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakhs (for SC) and INR 1.5 lakhs (for OBC) are eligible to apply for scholarships.
