Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University is an agricultural university located in Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan. University, formerly a part of the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and became a separate entity on 1 August 1987. SKRAU Bikaner consists of six colleges and teaching is split between two campuses, one 45 km from Jaipur in Jobner and the other in Bikaner.

Admission to the UG and PG programmes is made through Joint Entrance Test (JET) and Pre-PG Test, respectively. At PG level, the university offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science (M.Sc) degrees with multiple specialization subjects. The Master of Business Administration (MBA Agri Business) is a two-year full time residential post-graduate degree programme which grooms the students into professional managers for core areas of agribusiness and allied sectors.
The admission to the MBA programme is done on the basis of the CAT conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score are considered for admission as per the eligibility criteria set up by the institute.

On the other side, the university offers the M.Sc programme with various specializations like Food and Nutrition, Home science extension and Communication management, Human development & Family studies and Textile and Apparel Designing. The duration period of the M.Sc programme is two years for students of State Agricultural Universities and two and a half years for students coming from Non-State Agricultural Universities (to complete deficiency courses).
In order to seek admission in the M.Sc programme, a candidate need to hold a B.Sc degree in Home science with prescribed standards and clearance of Pre-PG test.
Admission to the PG programmes is made through Pre-PG Test. Students from other states are admitted through the All India Entrance Examination (AIEEA) conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

SKRAU offers a number of Doctoral level courses focusing on different specializations of Agricultural Studies. The duration period of the Ph.D courses is three years. The intake capacity for each specialization is of two seats.
All post graduate students in agriculture and allied subjects/ MBA (AB)/ MBA having at least 6.5/ 10.0 OGPA or equivalent percentage shall be eligible for admission into the Ph.D courses.
In order to get admission into the Doctoral courses, candidate has to appear for Ph.D. Admission Test . Admission process will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. A merit list is prepared on the basis of interview, previous academic performance and experience.
Performance of the candidate would be judged by a committee duly approved by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor.
