Dr. K.N. Modi University Admission 2023: Courses, Placement, Result, Fees

4-year full time B.Tech. course is offered by the University in five major specializations namely, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Automobile Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Minimum eligibility to apply for the course is having passed HSC Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate having chemistry, biology or mathematics, physics as main subjects. Candidates will have to sit in JEE Main exam before applying for the admission to the course.

Key points:

• Admission to remaining seats will be based on merit in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2/Senior Secondary Examination or equivalent.
• Students who have cleared diploma or B.Sc. with 50% marks with Mathematics as subject in 10+2 level may apply for B.Tech. Lateral entry scheme.

University also offers education in Law through two routes, viz., 5-year integrated BBA LL.B., B.A. LL.B. and 3-year full-time LL.B. program. The minimum eligibility to apply for BBA LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. is having passed 10+2 examination from with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.

Candidates applying for LL.B. must clear bachelor’s degree to be eligible for admission with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admission to the course is based on merit in CLAT/ AIET/ CET entrance exam.

Along with an integrated course of BCA+MCA, three-year full-time B.Com., BBA, BCA, B.Ed., B.Sc. (General and Honors), B.A., B.Arch. and B.Pharma. programs are offered by the Dr. K.N. Modi University. B.Sc. Honors is offered in Agriculture and Forestry subjects while B.Sc. in Mathematics is also offered.

To apply for BCA course, candidates need to have Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. The minimum eligibility to apply for under-graduate courses is having passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent (10% marks relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates). Basic eligibility for B.Ed admission is to have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks.

Selection of eligible candidates for all UG courses is based on AIET/CET entrance exam conducted by university and the application form can be obtained from the admission counter of the university.

Note: SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates can avail a relaxation of 10% in qualifying marks during admission.

Dr. K.N. Modi University offers post-graduation in MCA, M.Sc., M.A. and LLM. Candidates may also seek lateral admission to MCA program. University also provides education through 5-year integrated BCA+MCA programs.

Minimum eligibility to apply for MCA, M.Sc., and M.A. is pass in Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks. However, to be eligible for admission to LLM course, candidate must have passed LL.B. with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 

Final selection in MCA, M.Sc., M.A. and integrated courses is based on scores in AIET entrance exam. Admission to LLM is based on CLAT entrance exam scores and merit in qualifying exam.

• Entrance exam will be multiple choice questions based.
• Candidates may apply for the entrance exam by filling up admission form available at the University

University offers 2-year MBA in seven major specializations as well as 5-year integrated BBA+MBA and B.Tech.+MBA. To secure admission in MBA program, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate in any discipline. Final selection of the candidates seeking admission to MBA are required to appear in national level entrance exam MAT, CAT, XAT etc. to be eligible.

The minimum eligibility for BBA+MBA and B.Tech.+MBA is having passed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Selection in BBA+MBA will be based on merit in the qualifying examination while B.Tech+MBA selection will be based on AIET or UGAT as conducted by the University.

Note: Candidates may apply for the admission through the application form available on campus in the university.

Master’s program in Engineering is offered in multiple specializations namely Structural Engineering, VLSI Design, Industrial Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Systems or Automobile Engineering.

The minimum eligibility to apply in M.Tech. is having passed Bachelor’s course (B.Tech./B.E.) in Engineering stream with at least 50% marks. Final selection of candidates in M.Tech. is based on the GATE Entrance Exam scores followed by interview.

Key Points:

• Admission to remaining vacant seats shall be made on the basis of qualifying examination.
• There is a relaxation of 10% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

Admission in 2-year Diploma programs is provided by the Dr. K.N. Modi University to the aspiring candidates based on the fulfillment minimum qualification. The basic eligibility to apply for D.Pharma course is having 10^th examination with at least 50% marks having from a recognized board.

Admission to Diploma programs is based on the CET scores followed by merit obtained in the qualifying exam. Candidate may apply for the admission through the application form available at the admission counters of the university.

Note: CET will be conducted by the Dr. K.N. Modi University.
