LPU M.Tech (Food technology) admissions are currently ongoing.The university takes an entrance test, named LPUNEST for its M.Tech admission as well as getting a scholarship. The last date to apply for the LPUNEST is July 15, 2021. Candidates can take the test from home and will be monitored through AI tools and invigilators. LPUNEST 2022 will be held from June 6 - July 20. The result is declared within 24 hours after submitting the exam. How to Apply for LPU M.Tech Food Technology?
Application Process:
The students have to register their basic details on LPU ADMIT. Then, they will get mail with an email ID. They have to login with the ID to the admission portal. Then they have to deposit the test fee for the cost of the Application form and its copy of the LPUNEST kit. The fee for the soft copy is INR 1000 (Boys) and 500 (Girls). For print copy it is INR 1500 (Boys) and 1000 (Girls).
Documents Required:
After filling the application form they have to book the time slots to appear in the exam. When they submit the form, the following documents such as - recent photographs, 10th marksheet, qualifying exam certificate, address proof etc should be attached to the form as it is required at the time of admission.

- Written exam of this course basically deals with both short and descriptive types of questions.
- The exams (Practical and Written) are mainly of 3hours and the 4th semester's exam is only project based.

LPU M.Tech Food Technology Scholarship
LPUNEST Category 1, Category 2, Category 3 pass students will get 60%, 50%, 40% waiver of program fee respectively for each semester.
- 90% total in graduation or post graduation and 95% total in 12th result get INR 72000 per semester. They have to pay INR 48000 for each semester.
- 80-89.99% marks in graduation or post graduation and 90-94.99% marks in 12th is called category 2. They will get INR 60,000 per semester as scholarship fee.
- 70-79.99% marks holder in graduation or post graduation and 80- 89% marks in 12th is under category 3 section and will be provided with INR 48000 per semester as scholarship.
