Chandigarh University MA Economics Admission Criteria 

• Chandigarh University offers an MA in Economics program on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. 
• The entrance exam is held in two phases CUCET phase 1 and CUCET phase 2.
• The Exam is held in online mode and the duration of the exam is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
• The students must score equal to or above 50% to qualify for MA in economics. The students scoring between 90 – 100% get a 100% scholarship. The Cutoff is the same as in previous years.
• After qualifying for CUCET, the university conducts counselling sessions for successful candidates based on which they will be offered admission to the university. 

Note: There are some colleges that take direct admissions without entrance exams, by considering the merit marks scored by the students.

• Register for “CUCET”

• Fill the application form with correct details such as personal, academic, communication, etc. 
• Upload the requisite documents in a prescribed format
• Pay the application fee of INR 1,000
• Click on the “Final Submit” button to submit the application form. 
• Take a printout of the same and keep it safe for future references.
