BA (Full-time): 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized board. For BA Economics, students must have also studied Mathematics/Computer Science/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Business or Economics as one of the subjects during 10+2. 

Online BA (Distance learning): CUIDOL offers admission on the basis of 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Chandigarh University BA Course Details

The course is divided into six semesters that help to develop a variety of skills like general research, comprehensive analysis, and communication depending upon the respective subject.

BA Course Structure

  • The coursework involves core courses, elective courses, and language subjects along with a Project (Case study) offered in the last semester.
  • The program involves only theoretical courses.
  • The student has to select his/her elective courses at the time of admission (Semester I) and that cannot be changed during the entire duration of the program.
