CMJ University, Shillong Admission 2023: Admission form, Eligibility

CMJ University, Shillong offers B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, BBA, BFA, BHM, BHTM, BHMCT, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Science, BBA degree courses at the undergraduate level. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for these programs.

For B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc. and BCA program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology as subjects in Class XII. For Management and Hospitality degree courses, candidates must have passed the Class X.

Admission is done on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying exam.

CMJ University, Shillong offers Post Graduation Program in 2 specializations, M.A., M.Sc., M.Tech, M.Com, MCA, Ll.M, MBA and various other degree courses at the postgraduate level.

Candidates must have graduation degree in the relevant subject obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to apply for the postgraduate degree program.

Candidates are selected for admission on the basis of marks in last qualifying examination. For MBA, university will conduct Group Discussion and Personal Interview(GDPI). A merit list is prepared for all categories based on applicant’s performance.

Key Points for PG Admissions:

• All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
• For all the management and business courses, candidates should have a good command over English.

CMJ University, Shillong also offers Certification, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses in various fields. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 55% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for Certification, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses.

For Post Graduate Diploma courses, candidates must have graduation degree in the relevant subject(s) with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA.

Selection is done on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination. The merit list is prepared for all categories based on applicants marks at graduation. Applicants who will clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission process.

Key Points:

• 5% relaxation iii marks is given to all SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates with marks more than 80% in the 10+2/Graduation can apply for admissions directly.

The University also offers PhD in Law and Forestry along with M.Phil in Mathematics and Botany.

For PhD degree, candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Mathematics/Botany or M.Sc in relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA to eligible for M.Phil courses.

Selection is done on the basis of performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by CMJ University for different courses and the marks in the qualifying examination. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks at graduation. Applicants who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission process.
