Manipur University offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BBM, B.E, MBBS, and BDS programs at the UG level. The basic eligibility criteria for these programs is 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Admissions to these programs are either based on merit or entrance examination. 

Manipur University UG Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for admission to the UG courses at Manipur University, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• For B.E admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subject and have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• For BDS and MBBS admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as compulsory subjects and have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
• For other UG courses, Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 45% marks fron a recognised board of education.
• For SC/ ST students, there is a 5% relaxation of marks.

Manipur University UG Selection Criteria

Admission to B.VOC. in Food Processing and Quality Management, Retail Management and Foreign Trade, Tourism and Hospitality Management, B.A. (Hons) Korean, and BA (Dance) will be done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Such candidates must opt for the general test while appearing for the CUET.

• Selection for B.E program will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the JEE Main examination followed by counselling.
• Selection for the MBBS and BDS programs is done on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET examination followed by counselling.
• Selection for the remaining UG courses will be made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th.

Manipur University UG Application Process

Candidates applying for CUET-based courses must fill out the CUET application form. The step-by-step process is mentioned below:

Step I: Candidates should go to the CUET's official website.

Step II: Go to the top right corner and click Register.

Step III: Fill in all of the required information, which will include both basic and personal information.

Step IV: Double-check the accuracy of the information you provided on the application form. If the information on the application form is incorrect, edit it.

Step V: From the drop-down menu, select the University and Program.

Step VI: Choose your CUET test paper and/or subject(s).

Step VII: Complete the CUET exam language.

Step VIII: Choose a city preference to be assigned to the CUET exam location closest to you.

Step IX: Make sure you have all of the necessary documentation.

Step X: Go over the application form once again.

Step XI: Check all the boxes if the information you provided on the application form is correct.

Step XII: To pay the application fee, make an online payment using a secure payment option.

Step XIII: Save the application form to your computer and print it for future use.
