The candidate should possess B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering [Electrical and Power]/ Power Engineering/ Electrical Engineering[Electronics and Power]/ Electrical and Power Engineering or its equivalent from an AICTE-approved institution or AMIE(Electrical Engineering) with valid GATE score and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
