National Law Institute University (NLIU) is a law school and centre for research located in Bhopal, India. It was established in 1997. It is one of the first three law schools established under the national law system. University is the member of AIU.
NLIU provide various courses under PG course level which are as following:

Candidates can get admission to the above-mentioned course through the CLAT examination conducted by the university.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission at NLIU Bhopal, the candidate must appear for CLAT.
- An LL.B Degree with a minimum of Fifty-five percent (55%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories.
- Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (LL.B final semester) are also eligible to apply.
- There is no upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT.
Selection Process
Admission will be granted on the basis of the marks secured in the CLAT exam.
The allotment of seats shall be done on the basis of 'merit-cum-preference', i.e., the CLAT Rank. The online counselling session shall start after the declaration of CLAT results.

Syllabus:
- Constitutional Law (40 Marks)
- Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR, Jurisprudence (60 Marks)
1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
How to Apply?
LL.M aspirants must apply for the CLAT exam to secure admission at NLIU, Bhopal.
- Candidates are required to fill the online application form available on the CLAT website
- First, they must register themselves by entering their personal information.
- After that, they will receive their user ID and password on their registered email ID.
- Candidates will be required to convert their grades into a percentage.
- Followed by the upload the image files of photograph and signature.
- They must upload the scanned copies of SC/ST and/or SAP certificates/state domicile.
- The applicants must submit the application fee of the amount INR. 4000/- and INR. 3500/- (for SC/ST category candidates) through online/offline mode.
- Online payment can be done using the mode of net-banking or debit/credit cards
- The offline payment mode will require the applicants to submit the Challan in the nearest ICICI Branch and deposit fee in ICICI bank.
- They must take the printout of filled in the application form.
- The candidates will be required to upload the following enclosures:-
- Essential Qualification details (Percentage of marks/CGPA, University/college information)
- Front-facing Passport size clear photograph of the Candidate with clear lenses
- Signature of candidate [JPG Format, size not more than 100 kb]
- Scanned copy of SC/ST/SAP Certificates
- Scanned copy of Domicile Category
All the documents must be uploaded in PDF format only.
The application fee is non-refundable.
Admit Card
The Admit Card/Hall ticket can be accessed through the candidate’s account.
The candidates will be notified about the release of the Admit Cards through the official CLAT website.
