Dr. Harisingh Gour University formerly Known as Sagar University was established in the year 1946. It is a central university and is the oldest university in Madhya Pradesh. It offers a variety of courses in the field of arts, science, engineering, journalism at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of entrance test conducted at the university level.
Located in a remote village of Madhya Pradesh, the university may not be as famous as other central universities, but it has produced a number of talented youngsters. It is famous and highly reputed for pursuing law among students. In 2017, a total of 6 students were selected in civil judge examinations.

The University conducts Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Entrance Tests (hereinafter mentioned as CUET UG /CUET PG/Research Entrance test) for admission to various UG, PG and Ph.D. level programs. Sagar University Admissions will be given after counseling according to merit in CUET, subject to verification of eligibility in the particular course for which the candidate has applied and appeared in the Entrance Test. Before going for the Entrance Test the Candidates will have to download their Sagar University Admit Card for further procedure. Until the candidate brings the Admit Card he/she will not be allowed to sit for the Entrance Exam of the university.

You should have a bachelor's degree from any University recognized by the government of India, passing with min 55% marks, and then apply and appear for the cuet pg exam which is conducted by NTA in the month of May or June. After,1 month result will be announced and if you pass the exam with good marks, register for counseling on the website of the University portal.
I was selected through the process of entrance exam in the first counseling that was conducted online due to a vivid period. However, now the process has changed and admissions take place on the basis of CUET exams.
