Kerala University features a qualified faculty with at least 10 professors per department who are available for student interaction. Despite the challenging exams leading to a high failure rate, the faculty-student relationship is generally good. The curriculum, however, may not fully meet current societal needs. The university offers merit-based and need-based scholarships, such as the Students' Aid Fund Scholarship, for students with a family income below INR 25,000 annually. Eligible PG students receive INR 1,500, while UG students receive INR 1,000. The tuition fee is affordable, with an admission fee of INR 5,000 and additional exam fees each semester. The annual tuition is about INR 20,000, totaling approximately INR 60,000 for a full degree, excluding any scholarships or financial aid. Despite the absence of placement services, students can pursue government-sponsored scholarships.
