Yenepoya University (YU) was established in 2008 which is certified by NAAC with ‘A’ grade under section 3 of UGC Act 1956. The Yenepoya University is the first private University in the District of Dakshin Kannada. The university covers various aspects of the educational arena which provide students with numerous options to explore. Main focus of the university is to give access to quality education to the students.

Yenepoya University offers under graduate, MBBS/BDS programmes in its constituent colleges, namely Yenepoya Medical College and Yenepoya Dental College which are discussed below:

Admission to the above mentioned programmes is through merit in the YUUGET entrance test.

Candidates can register themselves by submitting an examination fee of Rs. 1000/- through DD.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed two-year Pre University Examination or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State/Central government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject.
• Candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General candidates (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Selection Process

• Selection of the candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination and their performance in previous academic programme.

Application Process

1. Candidates can download application form from the university website and Administrative Office of Yenepoya University.
2. Candidates have to submit Rs 1000/- for entrance examination fee through DD in favour of “Yenepoya University” payable at Mangaluru.
3. Candidates have to send the application form along with all the necessary enclosures and Demand Draft to the address given below:

1. Copy of Marks Card of the qualifying examination
2. Copy of SSLC Marks Card (Date of Birth)

1. Conduct certificate from the College last studied
2. Transfer certificate
3. Migration certificate (for those who have studied other than PUC of Karnataka)
4. Community certificate (for minority candidate)
5. Domicile certificate/Nativity Certificate
6. Medical Fitness certificate

Notes

• 150 seats are reserved for MBBS programme and 100 seats are reserved for BDS programme.
• Hall tickets will be sent to the candidate’s email address.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited in Yenepoya institutions.
