UAS Bangalore M.Sc Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

• Candidates can register themselves by filling-in the online application forms available at the official university website and submitting it upon completion, along with the required application fee
• Fee shall be paid through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore” and payable at Bangalore. In addition to this, Rs. 300/- should be deposited in cash towards Group Health Insurance, at the time of counselling

Enclosures for Indian candidates:

3. Attested photo identity card.

Enclosures for NRI candidates:

1. CV/ Bio-data
2. Attested copies of educational documents.

All the 5 disciplines mentioned above have the same following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility:

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Agri. Biotech. / Forestry / Sericulture.
• Candidate should studied under (10+2+4) years pattern with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
• Candidate should have studied minimum period of 7 academic years in any educational institutions in Karnataka

6. Agronomy – (14 seats)

8. Agricultural Microbiology – (10 seats)

Eligibility:

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Rural Home Science/Agriculture/Horticulture/Sericulture/Forestry/ Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation / B.Tech. (Food Science & Technology)
• Candidate should studied under (10+2+4) years pattern with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
• Candidate should have studied minimum period of 7 academic years in any educational institutions in karnataka

18. Environmental Science – (6 seats)

Eligibility:

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Forestry/ Agriculture/Horticulture/ Sericulture.
• Candidate should studied under (10+2+4) years pattern with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.

19. Horticulture – (10 seats)

Eligibility:

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Forestry/ Agriculture/Horticulture/ Sericulture.
• Candidate should studied under (10+2+4) years pattern with minimum CGPA of 2.25/4.00 for GC candidates and 2.00/4.00 CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
• Candidate should have studied minimum period of 7 academic years in any educational institutions in karnataka

• Selection of the candidates for all the above mentioned PG programmes will be based on their qualifying examination merit and performance in the entrance test.
