Sri Siddhartha University Admission 2024: Registration, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application

Sri Siddhartha University offers MBBS and BDS degree to aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science. The duration for MBBS is 4.5 years and for BDS is 4 years. The degree also includes internship programme of one year.

In order to seek admission in Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS), candidates needs to appear for NEET. Application for NEET can be made in its official website

Key Points to Note:

• 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria is applicable for physically handicapped students
• 10% relaxation in eligibility criteria is applicable for SC/ST students

Apart from medical courses at undergraduate level, the university also offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE) under nine specializations to the students who want to take up engineering as their career. The duration period is four years for each of the courses and the total intake capacity is 650 seats.

In order to seek admission, eligible candidates need to appear in SSAHE-AIUGET (Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education-All India Undergraduate Entrance Test) conducted by the university itself.

At postgraduate level, the university offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) for a duration period of two years and three years respectively. The total seats available for M.Tech is 126 and for MCA is 60.

In order to seek to admission, eligible candidates need to appear in PGCET (Postgraduate Common Entrance Test) conducted Karnataka Authority Examinations. Candidates should visit the official website

• Required marks for GEN category candidates in pre-qualified examinations or equivalent in relevant discipline is 50% and for SC/ST candidates is 45%
• The candidates with valid GATE score should compulsorily apply application online to become eligible for admission to M.Tech courses, but they need not appear for PGCET 

Sri Siddhartha University also offers Master of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Master of Dental Science (MDS) for a duration period of 3 years each.

In order to seek admission in MD and MS, candidates needs to appear for NEET PG . Application for NEET can be made in its official website 

For admission in MDS, eligible candidates need to appear in SSAHE-AIPGET (Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education - All India Post Graduate Entrance Test) conducted by the Karnataka Authority Examinations.

• Qualifying marks for GEN category candidates is 50% and for SC/ST/OBC candidates the required marks is 40%
• 80% of the seats to be filled by University based on SSAHE-AIPGET and the rest to be filled by the Management

The university also offers PG Diploma courses in various specializations such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2 seats), Child Health (2 seats), Orthopaedics (2 seats), Ophthalmology (2 seats), Otolaryngology (2 seats), Anaesthesiology (3 seats) and Radio-Diagnosis (2 seats) for a duration period of two years each.

In order to get admission, eligible candidates should appear in SSAHE-AIPGET conducted by Karnataka Authority Examinations.

At research level, the university offers Ph.D in various specializations such as Engineering Faculty, General Science, Medical and Dental. Apart from this, SSAHE also offers Master of Science in Engineering Faculty.

To get admission in both Ph.D and MSc, eligible candidates need to appear in technical aptitude test conducted by the university followed by a personal interview.
