SDUU invites applications for admission to the Bachelor or Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Programme for the academic year 2021-22. The admission process is through the Undergraduate Engineering Medical and Dental i.e., Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2021 examination will be conducted by ERA Foundation conducted online on May 8^th, 2021 (tentative). Eligibility Criteria

• You should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognised by State/Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST and OBC) with English as a compulsory subject.
• If you are appearing for the prescribed qualification and expecting the above percentage of marks, you are eligible to apply.
• You should complete 17 years of age on or before December 31^st, 2021 (tentative).

Selection Process

You will be selected on the basis of Undergraduate Engineering Medical and Dental i.e., Uni-GAUGE EMeD 2021 examination conducted by ERA Foundation.

The Exam will be conducted online. It consists of only one paper of 3 hours duration. The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with each subject having 60 questions, with 1 mark for every correct question and no negative marking.

You must secure not less than 50% marks in aggregate as well as in individual subjects for general category, and 40% in aggregate and 50% in individual subjects in the case of SC, ST and OBC category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the exam.

How to apply?

For Uni-GAUGE EMeD:

Step1: You will first need to register for Uni-GAUGE EMeD at its official website with the necessary details.

Step2: Select a Unique ID Proof that you will be using throughout the application process and upload the same on the Application.

Step3: Upload the photo in JPEG format which should be should be less than 80 kb and should be of 30mm*45mm dimension and the signature in less than 80 kb with 35 x 80 mm dimensions. You should also upload your Father/Gaurdian’s signature with size less than 80 kb and 35 x 80 mm dimensions.

Step 4: Select the test city from the available list of cities.

Step 5: Pay the application Fee: Rs. 1500 either

• online through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card
• offline through Bank Challan at any branch of Axis Bank

Step 6: Ensure that Online Application Form is filled properly with all complete details. Click on “SAVE” button and re- verify all the particulars in application form before clicking on SUBMIT button.

For Admission to the University:

You have to apply separately to the university along with the downloaded Uni-GAUGE test scorecard and the prescribed documents.

Take a print out of the Application form. Attach a copy of the Demand Draft for the purpose of Application fee of Rs. 1500 drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education & Research, Kolar” payable at Kolar. 

Enclosures to be attached:

• Copy of identity proof or date of birth certificate duly attested by Gazetted officer.
• Copy of class 10^th and class 12^th certificate
• Category and Income certificate (if applicable).
• 6 copies of identical colour photographs. You should mention the Application number on the back side of the photograph.
• Copy of Demand Draft for the Application Fee
