There are a total of 16 specializations offered under the undergraduate Engineering and Technology program. Shoolini University has an online mode of application. The duration for each course is 4 Years i.e 8 semesters. However , Lateral entry in some of the streams are also available which has a course duration of 3 years i.e 6 semesters. Lateral Entry is feasible through LEET (Lateral Entrance Eligibility Test).

Shoolini university offers its own entrance exam named SEST (Shoolini Entrance Eligibility Test).

Admission in Shoolini university for undergraduate Engineering and Technology program is directly through JEE/HPCET.

After filling seats on the merit of JEE/HPCET, the rest of the vacant seats are available for the students who have scored a minimum of 50% (PCM) in 10+2 examination.

For LEET in B.Tech program, Diploma in respective subjects or even related subjects with mandatory marks of not less than 50% is required.

Shoolini University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

In Shoolini University, B.tech offers 14 streams with 2-3 specializations and to apply in any of them students must have to follow the given eligibility criteria.

• In undergraduate degree of Engineering and technology in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, ECE, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information and Technology students must have to score at least of 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics combined and 50% marks separately in mathematics in 10+2 examination.
• However, in LEET for Btech like civil engineering, EE, Mechanical engineering ,candidates have to pass the diploma in respective streams or in related subjects with a minimum of 50% marks.
• For specialization like Biotechnology, Food Technology, IT , students have to pass their diploma in respective stream with a minimum of 55%.

Shoolini University B.Tech Admission Guidelines 

Shoolini University, Solan , Himachal Pradesh  offers its own test named as SEST (Shoolini Entrance Eligibility Test) for the admission. 

Other than SEST , admission in B.Tech programs is through JEE/HPCET. Students must have to get a plausible rank to enter the process of admission.

Candidates who have cleared any of the exams approved by the HP government also have access to the admission process.

After the draining of the seats through JEE/ HPCET , vacant seats (if any) can be possessed by the students who have secured at least 50%- 55% marks in 10+2(PCM).

For those candidates who have already appeared for any sort of national level entrance exam must not have to appear for the SEST entrance exam for admission.

• Candidates have to fill the login credentials like name, email address , course and specialisation.
• Open the admission portal from the top right of the page.Fill the details been asked on the page. Or you can directly apply online from here. And submit the fee INR 1,250 .
• Candidates have to physically appear with a duly filled form copy , JEE/ HPCET marksheet (if applicable), migration certificate, Adhar card , 10+2 marksheets, three passport size photographs.

Note: All these documents must be scanned and students have to carry at least two copies of each document.

Shoolini University B.Tech Courses Details

Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh offers 16 streams in B.Tech with 4 specializations in Computer Science Engineering and 2 specializations in ECE and 1 specializations in Food Technology.

A total of 720 seats have been offered to students who are aiming to excel their career in Engineering and Technology. The course duration is of 4 years i.e of 8 semesters and in the final semester of each course of this domain, the companies used to visit. Hence, semester-wise preparations are provided to students by the university.

However, in the Lateral entry in this domain the duration of course is only 3 years i.e 6 semesters.
