The National Brain Research Centre is a neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar, Gurgaon district, Haryana, India. It is an Autonomous Government Institute accredited with the deemed university status and is a nodal center under Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Admission in M.Sc is done through JGEEBILS. Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D will have to appear in JGEEBILS and JEST. Candidates are are also required to appear in personal interview conducted by the college.

At postgraduate level, National Brain Research centre (NBRC) offers Master of Science (M.Sc) in Neuroscience to the aspiring candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science. The course is offered for two years and the number of seats available for admission is specific.

Admission will be based on the marks scored in Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS). Candidates will be short-listed for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS examination.

National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) Ph.D Admission 2023

At Research level, National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) offers Ph.D course in Neuroscience to the students who want to make a career in the field of Medical science. Duration period and intake capacity for Ph.D is specific.

The admission process is done through Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS). Eligible candidates can also appear in Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST). Candidates who qualified in GATE-2016 in these subjects are also eligible to apply. Candidates will be short-listed for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the above qualifying examinations.

Candidates who wish to apply by offline mode need to obtain application form from NBRC. In order to obtain the application form, send a self addressed A-4 size envelope to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana)
Offline applicants can submit the application fee by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar. Send the Demand Draft and complete application form to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122051 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana)
