LUVAS offers full-time undergraduate courses in B.V.Sc. and AH for a duration of five years.

LUVAS B.V.Sc. & AH Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility for B.V.Sc. is the passing of Class 12th with min. 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (core) subjects by the candidate. Candidates must have attained or have to attain 17 years of age as on 31 December 2021.

Selection Criteria

Admission to the program will be made on the basis of a combined merit list of NEET (UG) conducted by NTA.

How to Apply for B.V.Sc. & AH at LUVAS?

The candidates interested in seeking admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme in

COVS, LUVAS and DVLT programme in LUVAS, Hisar will also be required to apply online additionally for which the application form and the prospectus consisting of other details will be available on the LUVAS website. 

LUVAS also offers a B.Tech. in Dairy Technology for four years,

Eligibility Criteria 

For B.Tech. (DT), the candidate must have passed 12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects with 50% marks in them. 

LUVAS B.Tech Selection Criteria 

• The selection of the eligible candidate will be done on the merit in the Entrance test obtained by the candidate followed by counselling process. 
• The details of counselling and registration dates will be displayed on the University website.

For Master's Programs, LUVAS offers a full-time Master of Veterinary Science course. The course details are as follows:

LUVAS M.V.Sc. Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidate having B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from an institute/college recognized by VCI with minimum 60%marks or 6 OGPA are eligible to appear in the entrance examination.
• Candidates must have completed an internship during the course of their undergraduate degree.
• The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for the candidates is 50% (47.5% for the SC candidates).
• Kashmiri migrants will be provided 10% relaxation in the minimum cut off marks.

LUVAS M.V.Sc Selection Criteria

• The selection of M.V.Sc. program will be based on the entrance test (ET) conducted by the University. 
• The seats will be provided based on merit, weightage and seat availability.
• Candidates will have to appear in the counseling.

Exam Pattern-

• Medium of the test shall be English only.
• All the questions will be of multiple choice types.
• There will be no negative marking.

The institution offers two-years long diploma programmes in two specialisations of veterinary sciences. 

Following are the specializations in which the LUVAS offers Diploma Courses: 

• Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma 
• Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology

LUVAS Diploma Eligibility Criteria 

• For the VLDD course, minimum aggregate marks will be 60%. 
• The SC category candidates are allowed a relaxation up to 5%.
• For the DVLT course, candidates must have secured at least 45% in 10+2 with medical subjects. 
• SC category candidates will be allowed a relaxation up to 5%. 

• The age requirements are a minimum of 17 years of age, and a maximum of 22 years of age (30 years for SC / ST /OBC Candidates). For in-service candidates, the upper age limit is 50 years.

LUVAS Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria 

• The Applicants for Ph.D. programs must hold a B.V.Sc & AH degree from a recognized college by Veterinary Council of India. 
• He/she should have a Master's degree and the results of that must be declared before the date of counseling. 
• In case the Master's degree transcript isn't issued, they will have to provide a certificate of their Postgraduate studies.
• They must have obtained at least 65% aggregate marks in their M.V.Sc. course.
• Those candidates, who don't hold a B.V.Sc. & A.H and M.V.Sc. degree aren't eligible.

LUVAS Ph.D. Selection Criteria

• The institute doesn't ask for any entrance examination to get admission in Ph.D. programs. 
• The selection of Ph.D. programs will be based on merit.
