Navrachna University focuses on providing students from all soco-economical statuses with quality education. In order to prevent any obstacles in the education process, the university has put in place several scholarship schemes that can be availed by students who meet the eligibility criteria and requirements for the said scholarships. The scholarships are meant to financially assist students who are unable to fully pay their tuition fee.
The scholarships include assitance from University through Merit cum Means scholarship for various courses, government scholarships and educational loans. The details for the said scholarships are as mentioned below.
Navrachana University (NUV) offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to students taking admission on the basis of their scholastic record and requirement for financial assistance. The scholarships are only available for those students whose parents’ income does not exceed INR 6 LPA. The merit-based scholarships are awarded on a competitive and on first cum first serve basis.
There are a total of 25 scholarships for students taking admission to BBA/BBA-LLB/BA-Journalism and Mass Communication courses. In order to avail this scholarship, the student should have scored 70% or above in their XII Board examinations.
A total of 8 Scholarships are available to newly admitted studentsto any engineering program who are within the 1-8000 ACPC Merit Rank. Interested candidates must visit the campus with filled in admissions forms and parents’ IT returns (2017-18 and 2018-19) at the time of seeking admission.
A total of 6 scholarships are available to newly admitted MBA students who have secured upto rank 400 in CMAT. Interested candidates must visit the campus with filled in admissions forms and parents’ IT returns (2017-18 and 2018-19) at the time of seeking admission.
A total of 4 Scholarships are available to newly admitted students of Architecture who are in top 100 in the ACPC Merit list. Interested candidates must visit the campus with filled in admissions forms and parents’ IT returns (2017-18 and 2018-19) at the time of seeking admission.
Central and State Government Scholarships: Since Navrachana University has been established under Gijarat Private Universities Act and is recognized bu UGC, students at NVU are entitled to avail the benefit of all the scholarship schemes offered by the Central and State Government.
These scholarships are provided to students belonging from Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC) and other Minority groups. The university helps in assisting eligible and deserving students obtain the acholarships.
Being a UGC recognized University, NVU provides its students with an option to apply for educational loan from nationalized, private and foreign banks. In order to receive the load, student are required to meet the eligibility criteria for loan of that particular bank. NVU provides students with the required documents from its end which are needed to facilitate the application process for obtaining the loan. This is done upon confirmation of admission to the university after the fee payment and verification of eligibility and other formalities.
