The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) located in the state of Gujarat was established in 2007 and headed by the State Government of Gujarat. There are many colleges which are affiliated under GTU which provides degrees ranging from a pharmacy, engineering, science, and management. The university has around 4,00,000 students enrolled in various courses. The university is approved by UGC and affiliated by AICTE.

GTU ME/M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
For admission to ME/ M.Tech programmes, an applicant possessing qualifications mentioned below is eligible to apply:
- For admission in M.E. Cyber Security (CE), students shall have a B.Tech degree in either B.E./B.TECH. Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or Information and Communication Technology.
- Students shall also qualify for the qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% for general applicants and 45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates.
- For admission in M.E. ECE (Mobile Communication and Network Technology) students shall have a B.Tech degree in either B.E./B.TECH. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering.
- Students shall also qualify for the qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% for general applicants and 45% for SC/ST/SEBC candidates.
- Applicants seeking admission through the GATE exam shall provide a valid scorecard.
- A sponsored applicant in addition to all the above-mentioned points shall have two years of full working experience in academic, research, or industrial organization relevant to the subject the applicant is seeking admission to.

Selection Criteria
The Masters of Engineering degree is a full-time on-campus degree. The mode of admission is through GATE/PGCET/GPAT.
Admission to the First year postgraduate courses shall be given under the following rules:
- All the seats reserved under the State Government shall be filled on a merit basis. The same shall follow the guidelines prepared by the Admission committee prepared by the University for respective courses.
- All the seats reserved under the management quota shall be filled based on the criteria made by the management committee of the respective Educational College.

How to apply?
- For the first-time registration, visit the official site
- Candidate will see an option “New candidate registration”, click on the option and create Candidate ID by filling in all the relevant details (Candidate name as per mark sheet, ISD code, mobile number, e-mail ID)
- Create a password for your ID and enter your security pin number.
- The “Final submit” button will appear on the screen, after clicking the final submit button, the Candidate mobile number will be verified by sending you an OTP.
- Verify Candidate accounts and complete your registration process.
- For registered students, they can log in with a registered email ID and password.
- After login, students will have to choose from the courses available for admission.
- Fill in all the other relevant details (personal details, Sub- Category details, other information)
- Upload all the documents needed for admission and click on “Submit and Preview”.
- You will be redirected to your application page, where the application number will appear.
- By clicking “Application form”, the incomplete application form will appear. Start filling all the relevant information in your application form.
- Pay “Registration fees”.
- Save your application number, ID, and password for future references.
Documents needed during admission:
All the document copies that are being submitted shall be self-attested.
- Class 12th mark sheet.
- School leaving certificate/ Transfer certificate
- Diploma in engineering or Graduation certificate (including all the GPA/CPI in all semester)
- Degree certificate
- GATE scorecard
- In the case of sponsored students, sponsorship letters issued by the respective organization/Authority.
- In the case of reserved category students, all the relevant certificates and letters needed shall be produced during the time of admission.
