Gujarat Ayurved University Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Cutoff, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar also offers an introductory course in Ayurveda, Certification, Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma courses in various fields. Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible to apply for the above-mentioned Courses.

For Postgraduate Diploma courses, candidates must have graduation/bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA.

For certification courses, candidate must be registered medical practitioners of AYUSH system, and Registered Medical Graduates from modern medical system/Internees, PG and PhD scholars of Ayurveda Degree or diploma holders in Ayurveda from any recognized institution from outside India will be eligible to apply.

Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination and interview. The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks at graduation level. Applicants who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission process.

• All SC/ST candidates should have 5% of relaxation.

Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar offers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Pharmacy in Ayurveda and Bachelor of Science(Yoga) degree courses at undergraduate level

Candidates are required to pass 10+2/Class 12 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Selection is done on the basis of the cut off marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination and Personal Interview conducted by the University.

The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on applicants marks in the cut off. Applicants who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for further admission process.

• Blind (including color blind), deaf, and/or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.
• 5% of relaxation will be provided to candidates of reserved category.

Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar offers Master of Science degree in Medicinal Plants, Master of Pharmacy in Ayurveda, Master of Surgery(Ayurveda) and Doctorate of Medicine(Ayurveda) degree courses at postgraduate level.

Candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate degree course from Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar should have a Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with not less than 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Sélection of candidates for M. Pharma and M.SC. courses are done on the basis of Common Entrance Test(CET) and personal interview conducted by Gujarat Ayurved University.  Selection of candidates for M. S. and M. D. course will be on the basis of NEET PG scores conducted by NBE.

The merit list will be prepared for all categories based on candidates scores in NEET PG and CET scores. Candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the University will be called for the admission process.

Counselling will be conducted by the University and name of the Candidates who clear the cut-off score will be forwarded to the affiliated colleges and institutes to complete the admission process.

• For M.Sc degree course, candidates must have Botany/Pharmacy/Agriculture or Ayurveda as a subject in Graduation.

Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar also offers PhD courses.

For the PhD degree, candidates must have a master’s degree in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Sciences or Ayurvedic Medicinal Plant Sciences or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.

Selection is done on the basis of performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar for different courses and the marks in the qualifying examination.
