For GATE qualified candidates the merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of GATE score and/or personal interview of candidates applying for admission. Counseling for allotment of specialization will be done online.

- A Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a statutory university in the fields of Design, Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Performing Arts. DA-IICT Admission
DA-IICT admissions to B.Tech program is done on the basis of valid marks in JEE Mains entrance exams. For admission to the DA-IICT M.Tech program, the candidate can seek admission either through GATE score or on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying degree and the interview.
For UG programs (All India Category):
- For B.Tech. and B.Tech. (MnC) programs, DA-IICT has two separate forms. B Tech application form includes B.Tech ICT and B.Tech (Honours) in ICT with a minor in Computational Science.
- Submit an online application form from the official website. The application fee (non-refundable) is INR 1200/- plus GST 18% (Total: INR 1416/-).
- Candidate has to satisfy the eligibility criteria in order for her/his application to be considered for final admission.
- The admission will be based on JEE Main 2022. Candidates who are appearing for JEE 2022 Main can only apply.
- The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the scores obtained in JEE Main 2022 exam and will be offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted) in order of their merit. Counseling will be done online.
- The candidates who have accepted admission offers will be asked to appear for registration, document verification, and payment of fees.
