Ans. School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi is an institute that offers higher-level education focusing on the field of planning and architecture. The institute primarily offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level research programs. 

Ans. SPA Delhi offers its UG and PG programs under the following different departments:

Ans. SPA Delhi offers a BArch program for a duration of 5 years. To get BArch admission at SPA Delhi, candidates have to meet certain eligibility criteria like they have to obtain at least 50% of aggregate marks in their 12^th examination with PCM as the core subject. Further, they are required to appear for the JEE Mains exam and secure valid marks to register themselves for the JoSAA counselling. 

Ans. SPA Delhi modestly began in 1941 as the Delhi Polytechnic's Department of Architecture. However, further, the institute underwent a name change and became the School of Planning and Architecture. The Government of India gave the institute the designation of “Deemed to be a University” in 1979 for its outstanding focus on providing excellence in specialized subjects like Planning and Architecture. 

Ans. The campus of SPA Delhi is divided into two different blocks i.e., Architecture and Planning. Both of these blocks are situated near ITO in Indraprastha Estate in Delhi. Also, the institute provides different hostels for boys and girls. The girls’ hostel is located in the ITO itself and the boys’ hostel and residential campus is located in New Friends Colony, Maharani Bagh, Delhi. However, the planning for the new campus in Vasant Kunj has been finalized by the authorities.

Ans. SPA Delhi fees vary depending on the courses opted by the candidates. For the 5-year BArch program and 4-year BPlan program, the institute charges a fee of 1.22 lakhs for the first year. The fees of the PG programs like MArch, MPlan, and Master of Planning, the first year fees amount to NR 1.32 lakhs. SPA Delhi PhD first-year fee is INR 56,600. 

Ans. SPA Delhi BPlan cutoff is released by the JoSAA counselling based on the JEE Mains score. For the year 2023, the cutoff for the BPlan is out in 8 rounds of seat allotment. In round 1, the SPA Delhi BPlan cutoff for the general category remained at 205 ranks, and in round 8, it was 503 ranks. For the EWS and OBC category candidates, the round 8 cutoffs stood at 21618 and 9822 ranks respectively.
