Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan is a Deemed University under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1970 to propagate, develop and encourage Sanskrit learning and research.
The deemed university offers UG, PG and Doctoral programmes to elevate and extend the Sanskrit literature. The university contains B.A, M.A, B.Ed, M.Ed, Ph.D and D.Litt focusing the area of Sanskrit literature.
The university makes the selection process based on the marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The shortlisted candidates have to go through an interview conducted by the university.

Central Sanskrit University is a university offering course in Sanskrit. The course offered by Central Sanskrit University for Undergraduate is Shastri which is equivalent to B.A. Hons. The duration of the course for UG is 3 years with at least 50% in 10+2 or equivalent. Admissions to Central Sanskrit University are conducted on the basis of scores obtained in CUET. The admission process starts after the declaration of the result of CUET.
Candidates must have passed Madhyama of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan or an equivalent examination recognized by the Sansthan or Senior Secondary (12th standard of 10+2 system) with Sanskrit from a recognised Education Board.
Candidates applying for admission to the BA (Hons) Sanskrit at Central Sanskrit University must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be made on the basis of scores obtained in CUET followed by counselling. Candidates must choose the following combination of subject while appearing for the CUET:

Central Sanskrit University will be undertaking scores of CUET scores for its BA Admissions. Candidates will first have to go through the CUET procedure until the declaration of its result and then will have to fill the application form of Central Sanskrit via counselling rounds. Step I: Candidates will have to visit the official website of CUET.
Step II: Click on Register present at the top right corner.
Step III: Fill in all the required basic and personal details.
Step IV: Check if the information given by you in the application form is correct. Edit the application form if the information is not correct.
Step V: Select the University and the Program from the drop-down menu.
Step VI: Select the Test Paper / Subject(s) selection for CUET.
Step VII: Fill in the language for the CUET exam.
Step VIII: Select the City preference in order to get allotted the nearest city for the CUET test.
Step IX: Upload all the required documents.
Step X: Review the application form.
Step XI: Tick all the checkboxes if the information given by you and appearing on the application form is true.
Step XII: Make an online payment through a secure payment mechanism to pay the application fee.
Step XIII: Download and Print the application form for further use.

The university provides Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) with a duration of one and two years respectively.
The candidates seeking admission in B.Ed and M.Ed programmes need to go through two different entrance tests. In order to seek admission in B.Ed candidates need to appear in CSSET and to get admission in M.Ed programme applicants have to appear in CSAET.

At the Doctoral level the university provides two research based courses, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) and Doctor of Literature (D.Litt) under various specializations.
