Fests are just awesome if don't believe just search about dtu fest on internet also this year engifest'23 is organised and approx 3 lakh students visited dtu to attend this fest
It's fest ... the fest are the best ( the one which happen in feb and march ) and also it's people .
The infrastructure is I think one of the best in the college classrooms are fully air conditioned
Infrastructure:DTU's infra is one of the best Delhi, labs and classroom are well maintained.
The campus life in DTU is the best the clubs , society, environment gives the best vibes
College life: DTU provide one of the best exposure and chill college life in INDIA.

Dislike

Talking about the student ratio, it is also horrible because the percentage of girls in college is very, very low.
The internships and placement season go hand in hand, but the internship scenario for the Non-tech branch is very bad.
There is a very poor placement scenario for MBA, with absolutely no consideration for MBA graduates.
The cost of my college and course is approximately 70000. I dont have any scholarships or financial assistance. I have found a job in the engineering field, but the fees are too high. We all believe that the fees should be lower.
The gender ratio was very poor in my batch. There were no girls in Mechanical out of a total of 100 students.
There is a continuous debate between students and the mess staff that just goes to show the rotten condition of hostels.
The college management is very bad with too much involvement of politics, which is not a good thing to have in such prestigious institutions. There is no focus on students welfare.

DTU-A beautiful story

From the 6th semester, companies come for internships and students get placed on campus depending on their skills. Nearly 300+ companies visited for placement in 4th year. The highest package of 1.62 cr was bagged by a student in the 2022 year. Due to the recession, our placement fell from 97% to 59% but this number will increase again back. Package in branch is 12 Lpa whereas someone pursuing a Bachelor's in Technology with Specialisation in Computer science has an average package of 23 Lpa. I plan to do an MBA after my Bachelor's in Technology.

My absolute honest opinion about DTU

The course has good market demand and is my passion. over 10 faculties there are 120 students Highly qualified faculty Every 1.5 months there are exams except in the case of holidays in the third and fourth year when people have to do mandatory internships in exchange for credits to pass college

The placement season will start for you when you enter the 7th semester. Some students get PPOs from the companies they did their summer internhsip in. A lot of well-reputed companies visit the campus like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Bain, etc. The average package is somewhat around 15 lakh and the highest package goes above 50 lpa also. As per the profiles, the CTC vary accordingly- core engineering roles (6-15 lpa), non-tech roles (10-15 lpa) and coding/tech roles(10-50 lpa+). The placement statistics is good and above 80% students are placed every year. Some prefer to go for higher studies while some start thier own start-ups/support family businesses. Some others also go for competitive exams like UPSC, GATE, ARMY, etc. I plan to take a placement from the college and start working after the degree completion.

yes, there are on-campus placements. students are eligible for on-campus interns during the 5th semester. placements are offered in the final year. There are all types of tech, non-tech, and core placements with an average package of 12-15 lakh and the highest at 1.8 cr international and 50-60 domestic placement rate is around 85-90%.
