About
Sarguja University, located in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, was established in 2008. It was formerly known as Sarguja Vishvavidyalaya. The institute offers M.A, M.Sc, and LLM courses at the PG level, and a Diploma course. It also offers Ph.D. courses in a multitude of disciplines. Admissions to the PG and Diploma courses are merit-based, while admissions to the Ph.D. courses are on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the institute itself.
