Nava Nalanda Mahavihara was established in 1951 under Rajendra Prasad it is approved by the (UGC. NNM was created to revive the ancient seat of education in Nalanda which was created in the 5th century. Starting with Pali and Buddhism, the original subjects taught at Nalanda Mahavihara in ancient times, it now offers multiple courses in various specializations like Pali, Philosophy, Ancient History, and many more. NNM offers certification and diploma courses in 3 subjects and B.A (Hons). It also offers M.A and Ph.D. in more than 5 specializations.
