Program Structure and Duration

In India, generally Ph.D. Mathematics program runs over three years and students needs to submit a thesis within 12 months of the end of the program. Many universities includes some capstone projects which may enhance the program duration to four years. • Candidate should have a Master’s Degree from any recognized University.
• Candidates who have cleared a four paper M.Phil. course work with at least 55 % marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' or those who have already completed the course work in M.Phil. 

• Examination Fee is to be deposited at the time of Course Work Examination and submission of thesis as the case may be. However, the said fees are to be deposited at the reivise rate if any notified by the examination department from time to time. Annual fees are to be deposited annually as per rate prescribed in the fee structure.
• If any student does not claim he/she refund of any amount lying to his/her credit within one calender year of his/ her leaving the University, it shall be considered to have been donated by him/her to the Student, Aid Fund.
