- For Admission to the UG level BA LLB course, Students must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and should have qualified the CLAT examination.
- NALSAR University of Law gives admission to the students based on the State/ National level exams followed by the counselling process.
- For Admission in LLM – Ph.D., Students must have completed a PG degree from a recognized University and should have cleared the Company Secretary Examination or final Examination of the Institute of Charted Accountants of India, New Delhi.
- For Admission to an MBA course, students must have graduated from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA including the students appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible.
- Students can take admission in MBA based on the score of NALSAR Management entrance test/CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ C-MAT.
- For admission in the Ph.D. program, students holding PG degree in the related field can apply through NET/ SET/ GMAT/ GPAT.
- Application forms for all the courses at NALSAR University can be submitted in online mode only through the official website of the University.

Selection Criteria
- Students should qualify for admission tests except for those students who have already qualified UGC NET/ JRF, SLET/MPhil.
- After qualifying for the admission test or relevant exam successfully, students need to submit a preliminary proposal of 1000 words including the hypothesis, there will be an interview based on this research and a survey of the literature.
- All those students will be rejected if the research proposal contains more than 15% plagiarism.
- Students whose proposals get selected are required to present their proposals to Research Committee.
- Students who have cleared admission test, interview, and Research Methodology course are allowed to re-submit their proposal twice based on the recommendations of the Research Committee.
