IIHMR University, Jaipur Admission 2024: Course, Cutoff, Selection Process

The university offers admission to the MBA program under 3 specializations and MHA and MPH Executive program. The admission to the course will be based on the performance in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT or IIHMR-UMAT.

Graduation Degree holders in any stream from a recognized University or Institution can apply for admission to the course. Candidates appearing for the final examination can apply for admission.

IIHMR University, Jaipur MBA Selection Process:

The selection process of the university includes the performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the marks secured in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ GMAT or IIHMR-UMAT followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the Institution. The institution offers admission to the Masters of Public health Programme. Candidate with a  minimum of 2 years of full-time health-related experience beyond the Bachelor’s/Master’s degree will be eligible for admission to the course.

Candidates with Graduation degree can apply for admission to the MPH Programme. Students with Ph. D. or MBBS degree do not require work experience at the time of admission in the MPH program.

IIHMR University, Jaipur MPH Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree holder with Mathematics, Biology and health-related subjects and a minimum of two years of full-time experience in Health-related steam.

IIHMR University, Jaipur MPH Selection Criteria:

• Students applying under this course should have taken English at degree examination or TOEFL/IELTS.
• Applicants should also have a valid GRE/MCAT/LSAT or GMAT score.
• The candidate has to first pass the pre-screening process and need to be pre-approved by IIHMR University before applying for the MPH course. The following two steps have to be followed for applying:

Step 1: 

Download the pre-screening questionnaire from the official website and send it along with the updated CV/ Resume for the pre-approval.

Step 2:

1.  After receiving that, the institution will send a confirmation mail to each of the candidates.
2. The pre-approval email for the application will be sent to the candidate by the university followed by another email from JHSPH with an invitation to complete the online MPH application through SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application System).
3. Now for being considered eligible for the admission, the candidate has to submit a completed application (application form and its fees).

• Candidates have to download the pre-screening questionnaire from the college website.
• The filled-in pre-screening questionnaire along with the updated CV/Resume should be sent to
• If approved, the candidate can apply online at the SOPHAS portal
• Applicants are required to pay the application fee of US $35. online along with all the required documents.

Required Documents:

1. Curriculum Vitae/Resume (will be uploaded with application).
2. Page Personal Statement (will be uploaded with application).
3. 3 Letters of Recommendation – Electronically through SOPHAS.
4. Official TOEFL Score – send to SOPHAS in Massachusetts use code 5688.
5. Official GRE Score – send to JHSPH at SOPHAS 3738 /or GMAT scores should be sent to KGB-3R-06.
6. Official Credential Evaluation of all Foreign Transcripts (all colleges/universities outside of the US that you have attended) should be sent through World Education Services or WES. The CAS provider you should choose is SOPHAS.

The college also offers a Ph.D. in Health Management. The basic eligibility criteria is a Master’s degree or PGDM. All admissions are based on merit in the university Research aptitude test (IRAT) and the subsequent Personal Interview.

Candidates who have UGC CSIR qualified JRF & NET, SLET, GATE and Teacher Research Fellowship and have passed M Phil programme in relevant subjects, will be exempted from appearing for the IRAT exam. Post Graduation Degree holder will be eligible for admission. 

IIHMR University, Jaipur Ph.D. Eligibility:

Master’s degree or PGDM with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) for general category and 50% marks for SC and ST candidates in hospital and health management, general management, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, health informatics, social and behavioral sciences, economics, commerce, science, demography and statistics.

IIHMR University, Jaipur Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

The selection will be based on the marks secured in IIHMR Research aptitude test (IRAT). NET/JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from the Entrance examination.

Qualified candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview.

• Faculty in the teaching institutions, researchers/scientists in research organizations and working professionals would be given preference. 
• Health administrators, policymakers, medical /nursing and management professionals will be given preference in admission. 
• Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience working in the health sector.
