BIT Mesra BArch admission 2024 is expected to begin as per the schedule of JEE Mains 2024. Admission to this program is based on the JEE Mains 2024 (Paper 2) and JoSAA counselling. JEE Mains session II exam is scheduled to be held from April 04- April 15, 2024. The results of JEE Mains (Paper 2) will be made available on the official website on April 25, 2024.

BIT Mesra offers a BArch program for a duration of 5 years in the Department of Architecture. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with at least 60% of aggregate marks will be considered for admission to this program. The seat intake for the BArch program at BIT Mesra is 39 and the total course fee charged by the institute is INR 20.13 Lakhs. 

BIT Mesra BArch Eligibility & Selection Criteria

BIT Mesra allows admission to its BArch program based on the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute followed by a valid JEE Mains rank. Given below are the detailed eligibility & selection criteria for the BArch program at BIT Mesra:

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination with PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) as their core subjects are eligible to apply. Also, they are required to secure a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in their 12th exams. 

Selection: On the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, candidates must appear for the JEE Mains (Paper 2) and secure a valid rank. Further, they should register themselves for the JoSAA/CSAB counselling for the selection process. The JoSAA/CSAB will release a set of cutoffs through which the candidates will be allocated seats at the institute.
