Master of Engineering in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Brunel University is a 1-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This course can be studied 4 years full-time or 5 years full-time with placement, starting in September.
Students will be introduced to electronic engineering and gain deep knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
Students will learn about electronic systems, and electrical engineering, and sustainability, and then progress to advanced devices and electronic systems design, and analog integrated circuit design.
In the final year, students can choose specialist subjects like embedded systems engineering, intelligent systems, and power electronics.
Course delivery is a combination of theory, practical sessions, and project work.
In the first two years, students will gain solid knowledge and understanding of electronic engineering. Students will also learn to work as part of a team through the engineering design group project.
Study will combine lectures, seminars, small group tutorials, laboratory and workshop sessions, computer programming, self-study, and project work.
The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
The graduates have gone on to work for high-profile companies including IBM, Intel, Mercedes, Microsoft, National Grid, and Siemens.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should GCE A-level AAB degree including grade A in Maths and grade B in one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Environment Studies Computer Science, Electronics, or Design and Technology
International Baccalaureate Diploma 33 points, including 6 in Higher Level Maths and Higher Level 5 is required.
Students must be qualified in IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

CBSE, CISCE, Tamil Nadu & Maharastra Boards - Pass Standard XII with 80% from 5 subjects.
All other Boards - Pass Standard XII with 88% overall.
