Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics
- Offers for programmes in the School of Social Science Economics Department are usually within the range of ‘ABB-BBB’ or equivalent.
- All applications are considered on an individual basis, with GCSE grades
Indian Students Eligibility
- Candidates are expected to have achieved 70% Year XII including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
- Non-native English speakers must achieve 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent tests.

- Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
- The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.
An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:
