Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Teaching and Learning in Early Years and Primary Education] From Sheffield Hallam University

This course allows higher level teaching assistants or foundation degree-holding teaching assistants to take their careers a step further. You'll attain Qualified Teacher Status and an Honours degree within two years.

You'll gain well-rounded practical and theoretical knowledge throughout the course, with work-based assessments as well as on-campus study. From your first year, you are introduced to the core curriculum areas of mathematics, English and science, as well as creativity.

In the second year you continue studying mathematics, English and science, and examine inclusive learning environments. You also complete a project relevant to your or your schools professional development. You benefit from specialist early years teachers on campus, and have the support of an academic tutor throughout.
