BA in Film Studies is a 3 years honours program offered on a full-time basis. In this program, students explore a wide range of critical approaches to film in a variety of contexts and can develop their understanding of American, British, Asian, and selected global cinemas, from their origins to the present day. Students acquire the techniques needed to research and analyze key film movements in cinema.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Students must fulfill the entry requirements that are listed below:
- GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent). Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
- A level: 104-120 points. Film Studies or Media Studies preferred but not essential. General Studies accepted.
- IB: 30-31 minimum points.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission to this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students in standard XII should score 65% in English (only when awarded from CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).
