The course gives you a solid grounding in modern economic theory and techniques of applied economic analysis. You'll develop the quantitative and analytical skills economists need to make informed judgements.
In the first year, you'll take modules in economic analysis, policy and mathematical and statistical methods for economics. Optional modules include Economic History of Britain and the Modern World, Introductory Finance for Economics and Classical and Contemporary Thinkers in Economics.
In the second and third years, you build on what you've learned and take optional modules in aspects of economics that interest you. Topics in Advanced Microeconomics and Macroeconomics help prepare you for work as a professional economist.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have completed a 10+2 education from a recognized Institute.
- Students should need to have the qualifications which meet the entrance requirements for the course they wish to study.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students should have completed a 10+2 education from a recognized Indian broad with minimum marks.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
VISA & Work Study
VISA
- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
- Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
- The student should have been offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on the student’s circumstances.
