On this course you will learn to identify, analyse and evaluate a range of business related issues. You will develop suitable responses to these problems and be able to select the most appropriate course of action.
The specialism within this degree enables you to focus your studies within the area of Economics. This means that you will take two specialised Economics-based modules during your masterÕs degree. You will develop an understanding of the core theoretical principles of economics and be able to apply this knowledge to practical problems confronting international institutions, national governments and businesses. You will benefit from being economically literate and having an understanding of the key economic forces and constraints that confront all businesses. Your final degree will be awarded as MSc Business Management (Economics).

- Taking the International Business In Practice: Study Trip module. This gives you a hands-on, intensive experience. You will explore the impact of the national and international business environment upon business decision making, being aware of the different cultural perspectives that operate to inform ideas and issues.
You will develop an understanding of responsible risk management and sustainable value creation on the basis of the environmental, social and governance impacts of business through:
- Being encouraged to critically evaluate evidence drawn from a wide variety of sources being mindful of bias and subjectivity

Careers
The MSc Business Management (Economics) will prepare you for a broad range of roles in economics and management. You might work in the city, for national or local governments, or for commercial business.
