This course will help students understand the ways in which economic ideas and principles are relevant to, and applied in, health and healthcare.
It will also enable them to gain practical experience in the application of health economics techniques.
Through it, students will also gain an appreciation of the links between economic evaluation and economic theory, as well as those between health service research and decision making.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Students require 2:1 or above or the international equivalent for this program.
Students require Economics or related Social Science, Medicine, Pharmacy or other Health Care profession, with substantial quantitative (e.g. Maths / Statistics / Econometrics / Epidemiology) components degree.
