Open University has a global support and students from different nook and corners of the world study at the Open University, as it balances with work well. With relative less expenditure on degrees ,it is equally equivalent to any other UK Degree.

Admission Requirement for International Students

There are no formal requirements for any undergraduate courses.
The only requirement is that students should be clear with the basics of the course he/she is taking up.
One can check if they are suitable to take up a course by giving a test available at each course page.
Also to acquire basic skills for a course, various short courses are available whose credits can be transferred to the degree later on.

Open University, UK offers more than 60 Undergraduate courses to all the applicants. The basic admission process for all the courses is the same. One can pursue either part time or full time. Students are advised not to take more than 60 credits in a year to maintain work pressure.

Open University, UK offers more than 60 graduate courses to all the applicants. While the specific requirements may vary for each program, the general admission requirements remain the same. One requires 180 credits to complete a master’s degree which can be pursued part time or full time. Registrations start in September and January.

The Open University is the perfect place for those who have time constraints and thus cannot pursue a regular university going course. Though it is flexible in terms of time but its academics are equally vigorous and there will be exams, lectures and assignments thus students need to manage themselves better.

The OU - distance learning done right

Overview:

I left my previous college due to mental health issues and poor support from the college. Because of said health issues, I wanted to remain close to family and friends and stay in a familiar environment rather than move across the country. The Open University allowed me to study from a distance, the comfort of my own home, and freed up enough time to pursue treatment and also other interests.
