- In this course, students gain detailed knowledge and understanding of digital forensics, and the skills needed to carry out complex cyber investigations.
- Students study the latest literature and methods in the field. They learn in a variety of ways including lectures, e-learning, seminars, case-based learning and laboratory sessions – they are also expected to study in your own time outside of classes.
- Reflective practice throughout is a key element of the course and you are encouraged to examine your own work, identify your own learning needs and challenges, whilst providing evidence of what is required to operate confidently, efficiently and ethically in the workplace. In this way, you develop an understanding of good practice and the ability to solve foreseen and unforeseen problems.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants are normally expected to have at least a 2.2 UK honours degree (or equivalent).
- Applicants must have a first degree in a computer-related subject such as computer science, IT, networks or cybersecurity is ideally suited to this MSc, but any other first degree which includes digital evidence in its syllabus is also acceptable.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Minimum of 55% or CGPA 5.8/10 from a recognized Indian university; 50% or CGPA 5.5/10 minimum from the following universities: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Jadavpur, or Kolkata University.
- Applicants must have passed graduation. Acceptable subjects include artificial intelligence, computer forensics, computer science, computing, information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, computer forensics, and digital forensics.
Submission of IELTS scores is compulsory for this program, however, students may submit a PTE score too in lieu of that.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
