We provide training in core data science skills, embedded in a disciplinary context provided by the pathway, students will develop:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit a high 2:1 honors degree (or overseas equivalent).
- Manchester require that all applicants have a strong background in Computer Science reflected, for example, in solid programming and software development skills.
- They typically expect a First or strong Upper Second class honors degree, or the overseas equivalent, in Computer Science, or in a joint degree with at least 50% Computer Science content.
- Applicants with extensive Computer Science industrial experience and an honors degree in Computer Science, or its overseas equivalent, may also be considered for admission.
- In the application, students should demonstrate aptitude, knowledge, and/or interest in three areas:
- data analytics and/or statistics;
- computational subjects; and
- pathway-specific requirements.
- These can be demonstrated by course units taken at the undergraduate level and high school level, or professional experience.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit their bachelor's degree (honors) from the recognized university.
- Students should have at least 50% of Computer Science Content in their degree.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
