Chemistry is a central science, and a qualification in this subject will offer a variety of employment opportunities. The objective of this programme from the University of Greenwich is to provide a broad-based education in all four branches of chemistry.

A major emphasis thorughout the programme is the development of students' problem solving and transferable skills. Within the chemistry degree pathways there are defined routes in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry, as well as one in general chemistry.

The aims of the programme are:
