- In the first year, students will receive an introduction to biomedical engineering, including electronics and mechanics, with mathematical modeling and analysis, which are needed to design and develop complex medical technologies.
- In year two, students will build upon the skills and knowledge they have already gained and take modules in areas of biomedical engineering such as anatomy and physiology, physics, and biomechanics. They will also select an optional minor from a range offered across UCL Engineering, including programming, entrepreneurship, or a foreign language.
- In your third year, students will study further modules from biomedical engineering and from their optional minor stream, and undertake a major individual project linked to research strengths across UCL Engineering and UCL’s substantial healthcare partners.
- The fourth year comprises an advanced-level group project, and students will be able to choose from a wide range of advanced-level modules across UCL Engineering and relevant modules from Medicine.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an AAA level grade.
- GCSEs English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5.
- Students have an IB score of 38 of which 18 points overall in three higher level subjects, including grade 6 in Mathematics and Physics, with no score lower than 5.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
- The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 90.
