The program provides students with the opportunity to follow a course of study unique in the UK. Students will explore a range of current issues and debates, including:
- Discussions about gender inequalities in access to schooling, and in experiences and achievements within and through school and other forms and sites of education
- Femininities, masculinities, and gender relations within education
- Links between gender, education, and work Ways in which the state and society (historical and contemporary) shape the politics of gender, education, and development
- Approaches to social justice, gender, and education
- The program consists of two core modules (60 credits), two optional modules (60 credits), and a dissertation (60 credits).
- Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded a MA in Education, Gender, and International Development.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a minimum of a second-class UK Bachelor's degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, and demonstrate commitment and genuine interest in issues relating to gender, education, and international development.
- Applicants with a qualification of an equivalent standard in another quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, or physics, may also be considered.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, 3.0/4.0, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used
- The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
Scores Required
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results are not required.

- Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.

- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
