- This program supports those starting out as educational researchers and practitioners to make a contribution to the field of education studies based on a grounded understanding of their own position. To do this it introduces such themes as curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, relationships between education and society, and the importance of education research, whilst encouraging students to relate these to their own contexts.
- Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
- The program consists of two compulsory modules (60 credits), two optional modules (60 credits), and a dissertation (60 credits).
- Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded a MA in Education.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
- Applicants with a qualification of an equivalent standard in another quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, or physics, may also be considered.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, 3.3/4.0, or 60% where a GPA scale is not used.
- The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.
Scores Required
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results are not required.
